Puthiya Kural Newspaper
Founded in April 2018, Puthiya Kural Newspaper emerged as a monthly publication dedicated to serving the Tamil-speaking community. Our journey began with a vision to amplify the voices of Tamil-speaking people, particularly the minority communities in Sri Lanka. For over a year, we proudly stood as a platform for expression, dialogue, and community engagement.
In response to the evolving needs of our readership and the pressing issues faced by the Tamil-speaking minority, we transitioned from a monthly to a bi-monthly publication. This change allowed us to deepen our commitment to being a non-commercial voice, focusing on the unique challenges, aspirations, and stories of our community.
At Puthiya Kural, we believe in the power of journalism to foster understanding, promote cultural heritage, and advocate for the rights of marginalized groups. Our publication serves as a vital link between the community and its leaders, providing a space for dialogue, discussion, and information sharing.
